  • Compile, query and export acquired QMA42 data to MS EXCEL - Office 2000.
  • Data output is consistent, permitting argument in Excel for comparison and analysis
  • QMA42 loads into its own directory, permitting previous versions of qma (v1.1-v41) to continue to be used for longitudinal study, utilizing the same pc hardware. 
  • Data acquired with previous qma versions can be converted to the current file format, and use the query function within qma to export data to Excel.

  • QMA v 4.0 - Update & user guide completed - Testing at University of Rochester - Neurology Dept.- Rochester, New York - working with Charles Thornton, Shree Pandya, Michael McDermott, and Bill Martens
  • Compliant with all MS Windows OS platforms - including Win 2000.
  • All testing information is Protocol specific - Multiple Sites / Multiple Protocols -
  • Test in any measurement unit - Pounds, Kilograms, or Newtons.
  • Begin Visit by double clicking on Patient Information -  faster and easier test start.
  • Input your patient information in either English/ American OR International format.
  • Change the Visit Number to meet requirements of the protocol.
  • Construct Protocols - Muscle Tests Names and their sequence at YOUR leisure - not at a programmer's discretion. Takes about 10 minutes to make a new protocol.
  • Muscle tests now have LONG names- Elbow Flexion Left, is now Elbow Flexion Left.
  • Utility Included to change old QMA muscle tests from previous qma versions to Long names.  Improve database sharing by standardizing test names, etc.
  • Leg Weight in Hip extension a Problem/ confusing ?- NOT ANY MORE - Set and check the leg to zero within the Test.    See TARE solutions.
  • Myatonic Dystrophy- Measure the back slope of an effort  / Create Notes including the release point for analysis.
  • Increased quantity of data points per second and time and effort conjoined & displayed - more accuracy - improved timing and data validation.
  • View or print longitudinal patient's efforts of one or several muscles tested.
  • Print a summary of tests of a patient
  • For clinical evaluation printout - include the referring physician and disease.
  • View patients visits - includes dates and visit numbers
  • Calibration Log File- updated after each calibration - may be viewed or printed.
  • Duchenne MS- Check Height and Weight each visit ?- build these as "Other" Tests.
  • Virtually paperless testing system - Reject a trial within the test and include annotation.  Make NOTES as needed. i.e. - Right arm missing, cannot test.
  • Time tests with the program - need to time a 15 foot walk / three stain climb / or stand from prone ? - use the "stopwatch" inside qma.
  • Transfer MMT information in "Other" Tests - reduce paper to your statistician.
  • Database Management - data seamlessly transferable to MS - Excel for analysis.
